Learning to Move, Defend, and Strike, while building a physical foundation
Not being there is the best defense against an attack. This is something we will focus on along with striking, defending and building a stronger body. We also focus on methods and strategies for de-escalation and disengagement.
Level 2
Learning to Fall without injury, levels of Force, Effective use of our body mechanics and energy.
Adapting our movements to the situation and our abilities. Contrary to what many martial artists may say, size, strength, speed, and athletic ability matters. How can we adapt and adjust for these factors? We will also work on flexibility and developing a warrior spirit.
Level 3
Combat Flow: How to Move Effectively while Attacking and Defending
The problem with most martial arts is the mentality of squaring off against a single opponent. We want to avoid any situation where we will trade punches equally by quickly and overwhelmingly seize the initiative and keep our adversaries off balance until the threats have been neutralized.
